About us

 

Lake Murray Camp:

• is comprised of 65 campers, ages 14 through 100!, from all across the state

• is hosted by Union UMC, Irmo, SC  where we eat, sleep, play, and worship

• takes place the 2nd full week in July each year

• serves 6 homeowners in the Irmo, Columbia, and Chapin communities

• follows Safe Sanctuary procedures which include, but not limited to, background checks for 18+ year olds, Two Adult rule, Social media and transportation precautions, and other safety guidelines for the protection and care of all

• is gratefully supported by a tremendous team of volunteers from:

  • Union UMC, Union Youth, New Life, Pathfinders, Joy, John Rowland, Seekers Sunday School Classes, Men in the Mirror, Breakfast Buddies, and MANY individuals!
